Terms of use
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Early access: Gloren is being developed and joining is by invitation.
About these terms
These terms apply to using Gloren (gloren.org), an online community for students and researchers. By creating an account you accept them, together with our privacy policy.
Who can join
Gloren is for adults aged 18 or older. You declare your own academic stage, and membership needs approval by our team. Give your real first and last name and your own phone number; they stay private, and authorised team members may contact you to confirm your account is genuine. Your nickname is your public identity. One account per person.
Your content
You keep the rights to what you post. You allow Gloren to show it on the platform; forum posts and comments are public and may appear in search engines. You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything illegal, share another person's private information, harass, threaten or discriminate against others, impersonate anyone, or send spam.
Community rules and moderation
We use automated checks (artificial intelligence) and human moderators to keep Gloren safe. Content that may break the rules or the law can be held for review, usually within 72 hours. A moderator may publish it, move it to a better-fitting category or remove it, and may limit or block accounts for serious or repeated breaches. We tell you what we decided and why, in the app and by email.
Reporting illegal content
Anyone can report a post or comment with the Report option, or by writing to help@gloren.org with a link to the content and why it is illegal. We review reports promptly and tell the person who reported it what we decided. If we learn of a threat to someone's life or safety, we inform the relevant authorities.
Complaints
If you disagree with a moderation decision or have a complaint about Gloren, write to help@gloren.org. Describe the problem and what you would like us to do. We reply within 14 days. You also keep the right to go to court or, where available, to an out-of-court dispute settlement body.
Your account
You can download your data or delete your account at any time in Account → Settings. Deleting your account erases your personal data, as described in the privacy policy.
Technical requirements
To use Gloren you need an internet connection, an up-to-date web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and a Google account to sign in.
Contact
Write to help@gloren.org, in Polish or English. This is also our point of contact for users and authorities under the EU Digital Services Act.
Changes
We will announce changes to these terms in the app before they take effect.
