About Gloren
Hi! We’re Beata and Karolina.
Like many people early in a research career, we’ve spent more evenings than we’d like to admit stuck on a stubborn method, a dataset or a hard question, with no one nearby to simply think it through with.
Research can be surprisingly lonely. Yet the people who could help, someone who has run the same experiment, been through the same review or is asking exactly the same question in another department, are often within reach. They are just hard to find.
We created Gloren to change that. It’s a space where PhD students, postdocs and researchers can easily find each other, ask questions without hesitation, share opportunities to grow and build collaborations across universities and borders.
Gloren started in Poland, but it was never meant to stay within one country. Mona, from India, joined us later and now leads the Indian side of our multinational team.
Gloren is only just spreading its wings, and it is shaped by the people who use it. Every question asked, every answer and every new connection brings us closer to what science should always have been: something we do together.
Thank you to everyone who has joined, is testing the platform, sharing feedback and helping us build this community. It’s thanks to you that Gloren truly comes alive!
With gratitude,
